Here's a look at one of our recent newsletters....

Hello everyone,

I hope you're having a great day. The weather is beautiful today here in Langhorne, PA. I hope it's nice where you're at as well.

Here's a quick word of encouragement from Hebrews 11...

--

"And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.

-Hebrews 11:6

Faith pleases the Lord. When we read throughout the many books that comprise the Bible, we are shown through direct teaching, biographical examples, inference, poetry, and prophecy, that the Lord desires His children to live in a trusting relationship with Him. He is reliable. He keeps His word. We can confidently believe in Him.

Many of the human relationships we have experienced operate differently than our relationship with the Lord. There are people in our lives who only seemed pleased with us if they're happy with what we're doing for them. The second we stop doing what they want us to do, we lose their favor and sometimes lose their friendship as well. Their affection toward us is contingent on our ability to meet their needs.

But God doesn't operate that way. He invites us to trust in Him and to draw near to Him through faith in Jesus Christ. We don't have to earn His favor or love. He delights to reward those who trust Him completely. He blesses us with the privilege to come close to Him. He grants us eternal life. He assures us that we have a place in His kingdom. And He comforts us by reminding us that He's present with us always.
